The Fanny Wrapper has been designed to solve a variety of problems that occur on a daily basis for all those who care for the elderly. Many people have conditions which require assisted changing of their undergarments. Constant management of this situation is often difficult. The Fanny Wrapper presents a simple and effective solution.
The Fanny Wrapper is designed as a pair of shorts made of waterproof cotton. It opens like a diaper and can be attached with velcro and adhesive pile patches on both sides of the hips. A pair of straps attached to the front of the waist are crossed over the chest to match with velcro and adhesive pile patches on the back of the waist. In addition, a belt wraps around the waist and attaches in the back with velcro.
This revolutionary garment will protect elderly persons suffering from bladder or bowel incontinence from removing, tearing up, or playing with their dirty pads, briefs, liners, pants, or undershorts.
At La Quinta Residence Elderly Care, we recognized that many residence care managers face similar problems in maintaining the personal hygiene of the elderly. So we designed the Fanny Wrapper to protect elderly persons suffering from bladder/bowel incontinence and who may also have Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's, Senile Dementia, or related disorders that provoke the tendency to take off, tear up or play with protective undergarments, pads, or liners that are contaminated with urine and excrement.
The Fanny Wrapper provides a variety of benefits for the care management facility and attending personnel:
